A day in the Village

What is a typical day in the village

8.00am: Welcome to all our children and families. Families must sign in and read daily diary. Please apply sunscreen to your child and assist them to put their lunch in the fridge.
8.30am: Indoor or outdoor interest-based activities which will include small and large group experiences. Each day a small group of children will be assisting with morning and afternoon tea preparation
9.15am: Transition to morning tea
10:00am: Planned experiences indoors and outdoors.
11.30am: Pack away and transition to lunch time
11:30-12.30pm: Progressive lunch
12.00pm-2:00pm: Transition to rest and relaxation time: story and music, quiet reading, storytelling 1.00pm: Offer quiet activities based on our school readiness program to non-sleepers
2.00pm: Progressive afternoon tea. Continue with activities, games and large and small group experiences
3.00pm: Planned experiences
4:00pm: Free play
4.45pm: Pack away ready for home time
5.00pm: Indoor activities and late snack.
